Dorrella Gallaway is an attorney with Cantrell Zwetsch where she concentrates her practice on employment law and business litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Dorrella represented national banks, mortgage servicers, and investors in real estate litigation matters throughout the state of Florida obtaining numerous six-figure judgments and settlements for her clients. She also spent significant time representing low-income individuals in evictions, family law matters, and obtaining injunctions for protection for victims of domestic violence.
Dorrella was born on the island of Antigua and grew up in Florida. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Florida and attended Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown she served as co-chair of academic committee of the Black Law Students Association and was a student-attorney in the International Women’s Human Rights clinic. As a clinic participant she travelled to Kenya to conduct interviews and draft proposed legislation to ensure equality in inheritance laws for women and children.
In her free time, Dorrella enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog, Chloe Rose, and going to the beach with her family and friends.
