Mr. Zwetsch is a litigator, business counselor, and certified mediator.  He has nearly forty years of experience, and combines a diverse background in employment and business law with past experience in human resource management..  He defends and counsels employers facing employment litigation, complex and changing employment laws, and countless workplace issues. His trial experience includes jury trials, bench trials, administrative hearings, arbitrations, FINRA, and evidentiary proceedings. As a litigator he handles all types of employment and business actions including trade secret, solicitation, non-compete, whistleblower, sexual harassment, false claim act, ERISA, ADA, computer fraud and abuse act, state law tort claims, and FLSA actions (single/collective actions and state law class actions). He also responds to government investigations, including EEOC, NLRB, DOJ, OSHA, and state agencies. Mr. Zwetsch often advises employers and people in business on workplace issues including violence/threats, staff reductions, discipline and discharge, policy changes, employee theft and fraud, wage and hour compliance, FMLA/ADA/USERRA, and the acquisition and sale of businesses. Mr. Zwetsch also handles third-party indemnification actions, Title III ADA lawsuits, and ERISA recovery and collection actions.

After studying industrial and labor relations at Cornell University Mr. Zwetsch enjoyed an early career in human resources working in several industries. He returned to law school at age 30 to fulfill a lifelong dream. In 2001, he was among the first group of lawyers certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in labor and employment law. Before founding Cantrell Zwetsch, Mr. Zwetsch was a shareholder at Fowler White, a prestigious Tampa-based Florida law firm, and then a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins, an international labor and employment law firm. He has been rated at the highest level by peers and lawyer rating organizations including Best Lawyers in America and Martindale-Hubbell (AV rated).

Mr. Zwetsch has litigated and defended cases involving nearly all major employment laws, and in nearly all forums. He has dealt with nearly every type of issue requiring legal counsel that could emerge at a workplace. His experience spans many industry groups including hospitality, retail, manufacturing, construction, software, medical, insurance, banking, securities, transportation, pharmaceutical, defense, restaurants, and entertainment. His clients include large companies, regional businesses, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
